Our ‘Rodi’ are inspired by the Hellenic traditions originating from the island of Crete. The Greek word for pomegranate, ‘Rodi’ is a symbol of good luck when placed in the home, a tradition we want to share with you! This large hand painted design on a heavy weighted gypsum cement pomegranate is embellished with an ancient Greek coin, decorated with a glass evil eye charm, draped in gold and brass and finished with a string of elegant beads and silk tassel. Our handmade art piece is adorned with the ‘Mati’- warder of the evil eye, making this the perfect home accent piece or heartfelt gift to wish someone special good luck, for landing a new job, welcoming a baby, wedding, baptism, bridal shower or new home!
